App privacy policy generator

Apple requires a privacy policy URL for every app. Answer a few questions about what your app collects and get a clear policy you can host on your site. Runs in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.

This is a template, not legal advice. It is built from your answers and does not know your jurisdiction or every SDK you use. Read it, correct anything that is wrong, and have a professional review it if you handle sensitive data or children's data.

Why every app needs one

Apple requires a privacy policy URL when you submit an app, and App Store Connect also asks you to describe the data you collect. Google Play has the same requirement. A policy that matches what the app really does protects you in review and with users.

What a good policy covers

It names who you are and how to contact you, lists what information you collect and why, says who you share it with (analytics and ad providers count), explains how long you keep it and how to delete it, covers children, and says how you will tell people about changes. This generator produces each of those sections from your answers.

Important: this is a template, not legal advice

This tool produces a general template from your answers. It does not know your jurisdiction, your exact data flows or the terms of every SDK you use. Read it carefully, correct anything that is wrong, and have a qualified professional review it if you handle sensitive data (health, finance, children's data) or operate in regulated markets.

Your policy must match what the app actually does and what you declare in App Store Connect's privacy section. Review it again whenever you add an SDK or a new kind of data.
